Wheat Starch Processing Line
Main equipment / the description of wheat starch processing line:
1. Dough Mixer and Washing
Using the gluten making machine to separate wet gluten and flour water.
2. Centrifugal extracting
Using Gluten round sieve to separate some small gluten, and Centrifugal sieve to separate water or other materials from the flour water, and get the wet wheat starch.
2.1 For the wet gluten, they also can be made to gluten starch. It need to be dried in ZSD wheat active gluten drier.
To remove sand or other sundries.
4. Concentration and refining
Working through the hydro-cyclone, there are 2 steps including concentration and refining so that we can get purier starch slurry.
From the Hydrocyclone, we will get starch A, B and protein.
For A starch, the details processing machine can be seen as bellow:
1. Vacuum dewatering
The speed of rotating drum can be adjusted according to actual site. Widely used for separation of suspension in starch processing, after dehydration starch content water below 38%
Finally, cassava residue is transported out of the workshop, the extracted water return to the process water system.
The starch slurry is pumped into inlet tank of vacuum dewatering machine. Then the vacuum rotary drum will adsorb the starch on the drum surface and the filtrate is transferred out of the system by filtrate pump. The filter cake on the drum will be peeled off by peeler and then transferred to the air dryer by screw conveyor.
2. Air steam flash drying
The freezing air becomes dry hot blast through the hot blast stove, which is appearing as suspended state with bulk material. It causes the gas and solid to go forward at higher speed in parallel. At the same time the water is vaporized in order to dry material.
