1.Potato cleaning and washing section of potato starch production line

Loose dirt, sand and gravel are removed in cleaning and washing section. During the conveyor ,the fresh potato will be washing 3 or 4 times for getting the cleaned potato .

2. Potato wet milling section of potato starch production line

The potato milling section include crusher and milling machine . The crusher will cut the potato into small pieces first , then the milling machine will mill the small pieces into potato slurry to release the starch as much as possible.

3. Potato starch extraction section of potato starch production line

The potato slurry will be pumped into the centrifuge sieve for the starch extraction. Fiber and other large particles are separated from starch. Then the crude starch slurry will be pump to the pressure sieve to separate the small fiber.

4. Desanding section of potato starch production line

The Impurities heavier than starch such as sands and metal in starch milk will be separated by desanding machine.

5.Starch concentration and purification of potato starch production line

The hydro cyclones is the key equipment for making the high quality starch. Impurities in crude starch slurry will be eliminated thoroughly through physical method in hydro cyclone group, without influencing the quality of starch product. After concentration and purification, the purified starch milk is around 21°Bé.

6. Starch vacuum de-watering section of potato starch production line

The purified starch milk will be dewatered on a continuous rotating vacuum filter. Then most of the water will be separated from the starch . After dewatering , the moisture content of the starch is around 38%~40%.

7. Starch drying section of potato starch production<line

The dewatered starch is dried in a flash dryer with hot air. The inlet air temperature is moderate. High temperatures may increase cold-water soluble starch. The moisture of potato starch after drying is normally 12%~13%.

8. Starch sieving and packing section of potato starch production line

The starch after drying will be sieved to separate the large particle to make sure the fineness of starch meet the buyer's requirement. At last , the sieved starch will be packed into bags for sale .
