Process flow of cassava starch
II. Cassava powder process:
Cassava block transportation → cassava cleaning → peeling machine → cassava crusher → screening, filtration and dehydration → screening → dryer → fine grinding → high quality cassava powder packaging.

II. Operation method (partial process and operation introduction)
1. Selected raw materials:
The quality of starch has a great relationship with the selection and purchase of raw materials. The flour yield of cassava less than 10 months is low, and the old cassava more than 24 months has been degraded, which makes it difficult to break and crush, increases the cost of rate reduction, and affects the economic benefits. The first step is to keep the raw materials in storage.
2. Cleaning and conveying:
The purpose of cleaning is to remove sand, soil, skin and starch ash, which is also convenient for the next process. Cleaning is carried out at the same time of transportation, so the feeding should be uniform. Too many tapioca can not roll without gaps in the rotating cage, so the purpose of peeling and cleaning cannot be achieved. Too little to produce. The operator should also pay attention to the pressure of water. If the water pressure is too low, sediment will not be carried away. Generally, the water pressure should not be lower than 0.25MPa. Always pay attention to the operation of the rotating cage and conveyor, so as to avoid overstocking of raw materials in this process. The machine is usually lubricated once every seven days.
Because the root of cassava is very long and the part near the main stem has been lignified, it can not be crushed without being broken. The first purpose of crushing is to ensure the normal operation of the crusher. Some factories do not have crushing technology to increase the load of the crusher and reduce its service life. Second, in order to fully improve the yield and quality of starch, improve the yield of starch.
The crushed cassava (about 1cm in diameter) slurry mixture enters the crusher for crushing. The comminution process is divided into one-time comminution and two-time comminution. Why the comminution process is divided into two times? First, the cassava is too long and there are too many lignified substances. For example, the yield of starch can not meet the requirements if it is comminuted once. Second, the quality of cassava starch is damaged by one piece of comminution at a time, which will crush the large particles of cassava starch into small particles, which can not fully free the starch and increase the filtration The difficulty of starch. So now we have two times of crushing. The slurry after the first crushing is first put into the first pressure curved screen to filter out the high-quality starch. The large slag under the first pressure curved screen is added with a certain amount of return water to make it enter the second crushing. The fine slag after the second crushing is then put into the second pressure curved screen. Such crushing process is advanced, not only does not damage the quality of starch, The starch yield was increased by 3-5% by adding return water.

5. Separation of slurry and slag:
The pulp and slag separation equipment is all stainless steel pressure curved screen, which is an advanced screening equipment at home and abroad. It has no vibration, high working efficiency, convenient cleaning and long service life. The first pressure curved screen is used to separate the materials after the first crushing. The materials on the screen are big slag and then go to the second crushing, and the slurry is coarse slurry. The second pressure curved screen is used to separate the materials after the second crushing, and the materials on the second screen directly enter the third pressure curved screen for the second pushing.
6. Desanding and superfine:
The sixth pressure curved screen is a fine screen, and the screened slurry is the finished slurry. The coarse slurry before entering the fine screen contains sand, which must be removed by the desander. The desander is to rotate by pressure so that the heavy substances are thrown to the outer wall and settled to the bottom under the centrifugal force, while the lighter substances (starch slurry) are concentrated to the center of the desander after rotating by pressure and discharged from the upper part to reach the purpose of desanding . The lower sanding time is 30 minutes, and 95% of the sand can be removed after one time of sand removal. After two times of sand removal, the sand can be basically removed. The working pressure of the desander is required to be 0.2-0.3mpa, but it must be noted that the desander is not a desilter. When the specific gravity of the fine mud in the starch slurry is the same as that of the starch particles, the mud will not be easily removed by infiltration into the starch. Therefore, cassava should be removed before production Clean the mud as much as possible.
7. Rotary filtration:
This process is designed to ensure the normal operation of the disc separator. The disc separator is a precision machine. The diameter of the nozzle used is 1.2-2.0mm, which is easy to be blocked by small particles. The rotary filter is installed at the entrance of the disc separator to check. Because in the production there will be some unexpected impurities into the pulp, without control will damage the disc separator, so the role of rotary filter is also very large.
8. Secondary separation of disc player
Disc separator is a kind of high efficiency and advanced equipment for protein separation. It can separate about 80% protein at one time, and the protein content of starch milk after secondary separation can be less than 0.5%.
9. Cyclone washing and refining:
