Process flow of cassava starch processing equipment: main technical process description
This production line uses fresh cassava as raw material to produce cassava starch meeting the requirements.
The first is conveying cleaning
The fresh cassava gathered in the stock yard is collected on the ground and transported to the desquamation and desliming machine by belt conveyor. In the desquamation and desliming machine, the surface of cassava and the soil and sundries in it are preliminarily removed and then enter the water washing process. After two cleaning processes of trough type and drum type, the mud, sand and other sundries on the surface of cassava have been basically removed, and the peeling rate can also reach about 80%. The cleaned cassava enters the crushing process.
The second is fragmentation

The third is screening
The mixture of pulp and dregs is separated by four vertical pulp and dreg separators, and the separated cassava dregs are transported to the slag yard. The refined starch milk has reached the finished product standard in terms of its thickness and fineness, but there are still organic and inorganic impurities such as protein and silt, which need to be processed in the next process.
The fourth separation and concentration section
Starch milk is pumped into the desander by starch pump to remove inorganic impurities such as mud and sand. It enters the first disc separator and then the second disc separator. The first is mainly used to remove protein, and the second is mainly concentrated to meet the requirements of dehydration. After the above processing, the starch milk basically meets the requirements of the finished product, and the following is the dehydration and drying section.
The fifth dehydration section
The concentration of starch milk from the disc separator is generally 18-20? B é. After the treatment of the centrifugal dehydrator, the water content of starch is reduced from 60% to 38-40%. The water from the dehydrator (about 1-5% starch content) continues to return to the disc separator for concentration, and the wet starch is sent to the air dryer for treatment through the screw conveyor.
Sixth drying and screening section
The air flow dryer uses saturated steam to heat the air through the heat sink and the hot air to heat the starch to achieve the purpose of drying. The whole system is in a negative pressure state, dust-free and energy-saving. The moisture content of starch after air drying is between 12% and 14%, reaching the standard of finished product. In order to ensure that the fineness of the finished product reaches the standard, it is necessary to check and screen the finished product to prevent starch from caking in the drying process, so as to ensure that the final product reaches the standard.
The seventh finished product packaging section
Starch has reached the requirements of the finished product after passing the inspection and screening of the finished product. The final packaging of the finished product can be completed by measuring packaging, and it can be packed into 25kg or 50kg according to the requirements
