The cassava slurry will be pumped into the centrifuge sieve for extract the starch three times. Fiber and other large particles are separated from starch in starch extraction process.

The Impurities heavier than starch such as sands and metal in starch milk will be separated by de-sanding machine.

5.Starch concentration and purification section of cassava starch production machine

The hydro cyclones is the key equipment for making the high quality starch. Impurities in crude starch slurry will be eliminated thoroughly through physical method in hydro cyclone group, without influencing the quality of starch product. After concentration and purification, the purified starch milk is around 21 °Bé.

6. Starch vacuum de-watering section of cassava starch production machine

The purified starch milk will be dewatered on a continuous rotating vacuum filter. Then most of the water will be separated from the starch . After dewatering , the moisture content of the starch is around 38%~40%.

7. Starch drying section of cassava starch production machine

The dewatered starch is dried in a flash dryer with hot air. The inlet air temperature is moderate. High temperatures may increase cold-water soluble starch. The moisture of cassava starch after drying is normally 12%~13%.
